Terms of service
Last updated: 26 October 2026
Who we are
MyQR is provided by WebEvolutions Ltd, a company registered in Mauritius (business registration number C23195495, VAT number 28125136), of 9A Higginson Street, Curepipe 74414, Mauritius. “We” means WebEvolutions Ltd; “you” means the person or organisation using MyQR. By creating an account you agree to these terms.
The service
MyQR lets you create QR codes, change where they point, host the pages and files they lead to, and see how often they are scanned. Each plan includes the limits shown on our pricing page when you subscribe. If you go over a limit, your existing codes keep working; we may ask you to move to a larger plan.
Your account
You must give accurate details and keep your password safe. You’re responsible for what happens under your account, including what the team members you invite do. Tell us straight away if you think someone has accessed your account without permission.
Free trial
Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial. We may limit trials to one per business.
Paying in US dollars (card subscription)
If you pay by card in US dollars, our payment partner Lemon Squeezy is the merchant of record: it takes your payment and handles any sales tax or VAT. Your card is charged when the trial ends and then automatically at the start of each billing period until you cancel. Prices shown in other currencies are estimates; you are charged in US dollars.
Paying in Mauritian rupees (invoices)
If you choose to pay in rupees, no card is needed for the trial. Rupee prices include VAT at 15%. We issue a VAT invoice for each billing period, the first one due when the trial ends. You can pay online by card, MCB Juice or blink through our payment partner Peach Payments, or by bank transfer using the details on the invoice. Invoices are not paid automatically; we email you when each one is ready and again before it’s due.
Late payment
If an invoice is unpaid after its due date, or a card payment fails, your account becomes past due: your codes keep working and scans are still counted, but you can’t create or change codes until it’s paid. If it stays unpaid for 30 days we may suspend the account.
Cancelling
You can cancel at any time. Card subscriptions are cancelled from your account’s Billing page; for rupee invoices, email us or simply don’t pay the next invoice. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you’ve paid for. After that your codes keep redirecting for a further 30 days, then they stop. Download anything you want to keep before then.
Acceptable use
You must not use MyQR for anything unlawful, deceptive or harmful, including phishing, malware, scams, spam, impersonation, adult content, or anything that infringes other people’s rights. We may pause codes, remove files or suspend accounts that break these rules, without notice where people could be harmed, and we may block links that security services flag as unsafe.
Your content
You keep ownership of the links, files, contact details and other information you add. You give us permission to store, copy and display them only so we can run the service for you. You confirm you have the right to use everything you upload.
Availability and changes to the service
We aim to keep MyQR running at all times, but can’t promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. The service runs on Cloudflare’s global network. We may improve or change features; if we remove something important to your plan, we’ll tell you in advance.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or lost business, or for losses caused by a third party’s service failing. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you, we’ll email you at least 30 days before it takes effect. If you don’t agree, you can cancel before then.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Mauritius, and the courts of Mauritius have jurisdiction over any dispute.
